All our staff are dedicated to making your experience here as convenient and enjoying as possible. We are all open to accommodating your needs when possible. If there are any questions the staff are unsure of, our office manager, Irene will get back to you.

Amy Schilling
Optometric Assistant

Amy was born in Colorado and grew up in Lakewood. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and Anthropology at the University of Colorado, then travelled south to the University of Tennessee-Knoxville for a Master’s degree in Forensic Anthropology.

After graduate school, she worked on the Visible Human Project in Denver and for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Bosnia and Herzegovina, gathering evidence for war crimes prosecution. She has worked for Coroners around the state of Colorado and taught Anthropology courses at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Amy found her way to Vision Transformation through her children, who are enjoying the benefits of visual rehabilitation. She spends her free-time making things out of wood and traveling with her family.
